Until about the 1920s, there were no reports of left-handed people, is this because no one was left handed before 1920? Nope. It was because it was seen as wrong and “evil” so no one reported being left handed. In the present day, more people are proud and out than ever before, is this because there are more queer people being born? Hell no. This is because representation is helping people feel safe enough to be their true and authentic selves. 

 

Let’s talk about why representation matters using examples of:

Conflict in relationships, and how if it’s normalized, you don’t know anything else.
